Could not recommend more. Kevin showed up a half hour early to get started, and was very detailed in all of his reporting, with pictures of every single part of the home and exterior. He did a great job of explaining the reasons behind any recommended repairs and gave a lot of insight into homes built in the Tampa area, along with what to look out for. We used Kevin for a new construction build that sadly turned out not to be anywhere near ready for inspection/closing (builder issue), but despite the surprise he still followed through and gave us a thorough report and assessment of the unit as it was, even though this required much more work on his part than would normally be expected of a brand new home closing inspection. He was extremely helpful and compassionate in person throughout the inspection, and the report he provided afterwards was thorough and easy to understand. His attention to detail was outstanding and the photos provided in his report were clear and large enough to see what he was referring to. I saw many inspection report formats from neighbors who used different vendors for the same service in the Tampa/St Pete area and Kevin's was by far superior to all others. Highly recommend.

I used Bennett Property Inspection, based on Yelp reviews, and I couldn't be happier with Kevin's services. Purchasing a new home is stressful, and wanting to know what's right and wrong with it is crucial. Kevin did an outstanding job...unbelievably thorough!!! With little time to get this done, his time frame was on point and on time. Turn time on the report was less than 24 hours. His price for inspection was BELOW what I was expecting, which included a wind mitigation report. Great work, great price, great company!

"Kevin was fantastic! He's incredibly responsive - whether via email, phone or text - all of my inquiries were responded to quickly (if not immediately). He was flexible the day of the inspection, and didn't mind that my husband could only come at the beginning and I could only come at the end. He took his time talking with each of us respectively, outlining the process and then carefully explaining the major - and minor - issues he found. His report was very detailed, including several photos and thorough descriptions. In talking with him, I found it extremely helpful when he helped prioritize some of the issues into what we would need to be prepared to repair/replace in the near term, versus further down the road (with basic estimates for how much time was left on certain appliances/home features.) As a former contractor, he has the knowledge and experience to advise on several matters, which I thought was outstanding. He even provided guidance after our new home was damaged in a tropical storm - a month after our inspection! I couldn't recommend him any higher - you will love Kevin!"

"Worth. Every. Penny. Sure, I could have found someone to do it for a hundred or so cheaper, but Kevin's thoroughness and communication was exceptional. I've never bought a home before, and for some crazy reason decided I wanted my first home to be an older bungalow in south Tampa. Kevin knew exactly what to look for, and his thoroughness impressed even my father-in-law who came along for the inspection (I can't adequately explain how difficult that is!). He made me feel a LOT more comfortable about the house I was buying, and documented every single improvement or repair I'd likely have to make. He even answered some additional general home buying questions for me that were likely outside the scope of what you could expect from a home inspector. Modern, too. So many stages of the home buying process are archaic and paper driven. Kevin was responsive via text message, took payment via credit card, and his finished report was in an easily shareable web interface that I could send to the various people in the process that needed it. I can't recommend Kevin strongly enough."

My husband and I were clueless about buying a first house, but everything I read online stressed how important the home inspection is and said to find your own home inspector. I did my homework and Kevin's reviews were by far the best in the area. And boy, he not only lived up to my expectations but exceeded them! His report was tremendously thorough, with pictures to show exactly what the various problems with the house were.
